Pay Rate: $58.00 – $68.00 / hr W2
Contract Duration: 12 Months (08/17/2026 – 08/16/2027)

Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Front Office Automation Testers specializing in Python (2 UI Automation Testers and 2 API Automation Testers) to join a premier Capital Markets group
In this role, you will design, build, and execute automated test frameworks to validate front-office trading applications, order management systems (OMS), execution management platforms, and market data feeds.
Mandatory Requirement: Candidates MUST possess Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Capital Markets / Fixed Income trading domains (Fixed Income, Derivatives, Swaps, Caps/Floors, Swaptions, and Bonds).
Key Responsibilities

  • Framework Development & Scripting: Design, build, and maintain robust Python-based automated test scripts for front-office trading systems (UI testing via Selenium/Playwright/PyTest or API testing via Requests/REST Assured).
  • Front Office Workflow Testing: Test complex Sales & Trading workflows, order execution, trade booking, market data feeds, and pricing models for Fixed Income & Derivative products.
  • Collaboration & Requirements: Work closely with front-office traders, quantitative analysts, developers, and business analysts to translate complex trading requirements into comprehensive automated test suites.
  • CI/CD & Execution: Integrate automated test suites into Agile/DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, regression, and pre-release validation.
  • Defect Analysis & Tracking: Analyze test execution results, isolate root-cause issues, log detailed defects, and collaborate with engineering teams toward resolution.
  • Documentation & Audit Readiness: Maintain accurate test plans, test data sets, and execution logs to ensure compliance with financial regulatory and internal audit standards.
Position Requirements
  • Core Technical Skills:
    • Python Automation Expertise: Strong, hands-on Python programming skills for test automation.
    • UI Automation Roles (2 Openings): Deep experience with Python-based UI frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, or similar).
    • API Automation Roles (2 Openings): Deep experience with REST API testing using Python (Requests, Postman, PyTest, JSON/XML parsing).
  • Domain Knowledge (STRICT MUST-HAVE):
    • Direct domain experience in Capital Markets / Front Office Sales & Trading.
    • Hands-on familiarity with Fixed Income and Derivative products (Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Caps/Floors, Swaptions).
    • Understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), order lifecycles, and market data workflows.
  • Methodologies & Tools: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git version control, Jira, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface confidently with front-office business stakeholders and technical leads.
