Sr Communications Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Sr Communications Specialist to join their team. As a Sr Communications Specialist, you will be part of the Communications Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic and highly complex integrated communications programs across multiple external audiences.
  • Develop and execute effective and integrated communication plans, including strategies and tactics across all channels, leveraging all communication opportunities.
  • Manage communication efforts for projects involving high-priority, major strategic initiatives, or significant changes to existing marketing and communication strategies.
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, utilizing outside resources and crossing divisions to produce impactful communications.
  • Serve as a communication strategist, consulting with corporate and division partners to develop key messages and communication vehicles aligned with organizational objectives.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in related communications work across various mediums and audiences.
  • Project management experience with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and desktop publishing applications.
