DevEx Solutions Architect - Jacksonville, FL

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a DevEx Solutions Architect to join their team. As a DevEx Solutions Architect, you will be part of the Solutions Architecture department supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop technical solutions across diverse software development platforms and environments.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure implementation aligns with architectural standards and best practices.
• Evaluate vendor and in-house solutions against architecture standards and technical requirements.
• Manage architecture runway and technical debt backlog with input from key stakeholders.
• Perform hands-on proof of concept work to assess applicability and impact of new technologies and patterns.

What's Needed?

• Broad and deep experience designing solutions across varied platforms including Linux, Windows, Java, .Net, Python, and JavaScript.
• Technical expertise with DevOps automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Jira, Git, and Artifactory.
• Experience with complex, high-volume applications focusing on resiliency and performance.
• Knowledge of security protocols including AAA, OAuth, OIDC, and encryption techniques.
• Strong ownership mentality with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
