Cloud Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology and cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Cloud Security Architecture team supporting innovative cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Security Consultant

Location: Remote, United States

What's the Job?

• Advise customers on best practices in designing and implementing secure cloud systems.
• Perform comprehensive reviews of multiple cloud platforms and services to assess cybersecurity risks such as data leakage and unauthorized access, designing effective controls to mitigate these risks.
• Design, develop, and implement security requirements into cloud-native architectures that meet business needs with appropriate security controls.
• Create and develop cloud-specific security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance and security integrity.
• Provide technical design and architecture advice to customer teams on securely developing and building cloud-ready applications, effectively communicating complex topics to diverse audiences.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Architecture and/or Engineering.
• Extensive experience in professional services consultancy, cyber security, or information security industries.
• Deep understanding of various cloud architecture models, hosting, and deployment models.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud platform security and compliance capabilities.
• Experience working with cloud-native security mechanisms and securing containerized technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
