CAD Designer

Our client, a leader in the technology and hardware development industry, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the Hardware Development Department supporting the Computer Aided Design team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Albany, New York

What's the Job?

• Design, develop, and test hardware components using advanced CAD tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure design specifications are met and integrated seamlessly.
• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Synopsys ICValidator, KLayout, Cadence Virtuoso, and Siemens Mentor Calibre for design validation.
• Develop scripts and automation processes to streamline design workflows and improve efficiency.
• Support the development of high-quality hardware decks aligned with project requirements and deadlines.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in EDA automation, scripting, and relevant design tools.
• Experience with coding languages such as PxL, SVRF, Python, and SKILL.
• Strong understanding of hardware design principles and verification processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and precision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
