Medical Writer

Our client, a leader in the Medical Diagnostics industry, is seeking a Medical Writer to join their team. As a Medical Writer, you will be part of the Regulatory Affairs department supporting the Molecular Diagnostics division within the In Vitro area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Writer

Location: Lake Forest, IL 

Pay Range: $40-45/hr

What's the Job?

  • Author detailed technical documents to support domestic and international regulatory submissions.
  • Complete submissions following EU IVDR guidelines and product completion procedures.
  • Write and modify scientific reports, incorporating graphs, charts, tables, and statistical analyses from approved source files.
  • Proofread, edit, circulate, assemble, and inspect submission documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Work within a collaborative team environment, managing multiple priorities and shifting focus as needed.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience in medical writing or regulatory documentation.
  • Strong understanding of EU IVDR regulations and submission processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat for document editing and image rendering.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
  • Experience working with complex data and presenting it clearly in technical documents.
