As a Front Desk Representative, you will be part of the front office support staff, ensuring smooth patient interactions and efficient administrative operations. What's the Job?
- Greet patients and visitors arriving for appointments, creating a welcoming environment.
- Check patients in by entering demographics, insurance details, and authorizations accurately.
- Verify insurance benefits online or via phone, ensuring all authorizations and referrals are obtained prior to visits.
- Coordinate with patients regarding their insurance benefits and medical provider programs.
- Assist with end-of-day closing duties and support cross-training of new personnel on front desk responsibilities.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare or similar setting.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Outlook.
