Wi-Fi Infrastructure Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications industry, is seeking a Wi-Fi Infrastructure Test Engineer to join their team. As a Wi-Fi Infrastructure Test Engineer, you will be part of the Network Support Department supporting the Wireless Infrastructure Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Downingtown, PA

What's the Job?

• Perform comprehensive testing of Wi-Fi infrastructure components and systems.
• Build and configure racks for testing environments to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize Python programming skills to develop network-focused applications and automation scripts.
• Analyze Wi-Fi protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and troubleshoot wireless networking issues.
• Conduct real-time traffic analysis and optimize network performance for reliability and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in Wi-Fi infrastructure testing.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in building network applications.
• Thorough understanding of Wi-Fi protocols and wireless networking principles.
• Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark for packet inspection and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols including WPA2/WPA3, EAP, and related security standards.
