Our client, a leading organization in data management and technology infrastructure, is seeking a Hardware Technician to join their team. As a Hardware Technician, you will be part of the Technical Operations Department supporting Data Center Operations. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Hardware Technician

Location:Greencastle, Pennsylvania

Pay Range: 25-28/hr

What's the Job?

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming IT equipment, including servers, switches, networking gear, and storage hardware.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics, functional testing, and basic troubleshooting of electronic components.
  • Disassemble, decommission, and recover components from retired data center equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update asset tracking systems.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for testing, repair, recycling, and disposition of equipment.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with computer hardware, servers, electronics, or technical equipment.
  • Basic understanding of server components, networking equipment, and IT hardware.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
