Digital Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a Digital Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst to join their team. As a Digital Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of the Digital in Manufacturing Team supporting various factory operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Digital Manufacturing Business Systems Analyst

Location:On-site in St. Louis, with open remote options (preferably East Coast/Midwest)

Pay Range: $60-68/hr on w2

Must Have:
Manufacturing Background: 
Experience supporting manufacturing plants, production operations, factory systems, MES, warehouse, quality, or supply chain processes. Understanding how manufacturing environments operate.

Business Analysis Experience: Gather business requirements, Conduct stakeholder discussions, Create functional specifications. Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers

Strong SQL Skills: Writing and troubleshooting SQL queries, Data analysis and reporting. Working with databases supporting manufacturing applications.

Application Support & Troubleshooting: Windows-based applications, System testing, Production support, Issue investigation and resolution.

Agile/Scrum Experience​​​​​​​: User stories, Sprint planning, Agile project delivery

Nice-to-Have:

  • SAP PP/MM/QM
  • Azure Cloud
  • Mobile applications
  • C# troubleshooting
  • Java/JSP troubleshooting

  • Perform business analysis, configuration, and deployment of manufacturing applications.
  • Collaborate with team members, SMEs, and external vendors to deliver solutions aligned with strategic goals.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize manufacturing solutions.
  • Support digital platforms, data integration, and information architecture to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to project management efforts, ensuring timely delivery and value realization.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience or Associate’s degree plus 5 years in Engineering, IT, or related technical fields.
  • 7+ years of experience in technology, including information architecture, analysis, or software development.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience supporting Windows Server applications.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and document processes effectively.
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams and managing projects within an agile environment.
