Transportation Planning Coordinator (Remote)
Location - Remote

Contract – 6 Months
Rate - $26/hr on W2

  • Hiring Manager is based in Hereford, TX
  • Strong preference for candidates in the Midwest

Job Summary
This is a remote contract opportunity supporting a small Transportation team of three members. The contractor will be responsible for day-to-day transportation planning activities, including scheduling shipments, tendering loads, resolving product issues, and handling email communication. The role works closely with Operations Planning and Warehouse/Plant teams to ensure smooth transportation execution.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. They should be proactive, take ownership of issues, and follow them through to resolution. Previous transportation or inventory experience is helpful but not required. Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
This position requires reliable availability during core business hours, with occasional overtime and participation in holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation Planning
  • Perform daily transportation planning activities.
  • Schedule shipments.
  • Tender transportation loads.
  • Resolve transportation and product-related issues.
  • Manage transportation-related email communication.
