Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. Job Title:Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Location:  Palo Alto, CA

What's the Job?

• Drive AMD Versal SoC bring-up for the iRDK platform, focusing on programmable logic (PL) integration and inter-processor communication (IPC) with the AMD APU.
• Develop and validate PL integration, including IP instantiation, configuration, and AXI interfaces.
• Implement and validate IPC mechanisms between Versal AI Core / RPU and AMD APU, utilizing protocols such as RPMsg, OpenAMP, and shared memory.
• Develop BSP and drivers for Versal PS subsystems, including RPU and APU partitions.
• Collaborate with semiconductor manufacturing teams to resolve platform-related issues and optimize performance.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with MediaTek chipsets and embedded platform development.
• Proficiency in board bring-up, BSP development, and device driver development.
• Strong understanding of bootloader sequences and configuration.
• Experience working with semiconductor manufacturing teams and handling chipset challenges.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot BSP software, chipset issues, and performance bottlenecks.
