Laboratory Technician

Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Hardware Validation Department supporting the Server Lab Operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 12+ months with highly possible extension
Pay Range: $27 - $29 / hr. 

What's the Job?

• Manage and maintain server platforms in the lab environment
• Build, configure, and validate DDR DIMM configurations across server systems
• Perform hardware bring-up, system setup, and component installation (CPU, memory, storage)
• Debug and troubleshoot server hardware issues; analyze logs and identify root causes
• Support lab operations, ensuring systems are operational and available for testing

What's Needed?

• Associate degree (AA/AAS) or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience in lab technician roles, hardware validation, or server environments
• Hands-on experience with server hardware platforms and system components
• Familiarity with DDR memory (DIMMs) and system configurations
• Basic knowledge of Python scripting or automation tools
