Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Product Manager - Data Retention to join their team. As a Product Manager - Data Retention, you will be part of the Data Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC / Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid -3 days onsite per week)

What's the Job?

  • Lead product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for Data Retention and Supervision technologies related to Electronic Communication data.
  • Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and communicate effectively with end users.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, marketing, operations, and support teams to meet financial and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Maintain relationships with key vendors and internal teams to ensure project success and satisfactory contract negotiations.
  • Ensure that product and communication efforts align with the company's overall strategy and goals, maximizing customer experience and time-to-market efficiency.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of experience in Information Technology, with a focus on product management in regulated environments.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience working in highly regulated financial institutions and understanding of regulatory requirements for data retention and discovery.
  • Proven success in defining and launching products, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical background with knowledge of archival, messaging, data analytics, and data management technologies preferred.
