Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of the Supply Chain & Procurement Organization supporting Datacenter Commissioning, Construction, and Operations Teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, exceptional stakeholder management abilities, and analytical problem-solving capabilities which will align successfully in the organization.

What’s the Job?

  • Coordinate commissioning equipment deployments to ensure the right equipment is available at the right location and time to support datacenter project schedules.
  • Manage equipment tracking, fleet utilization, inventory reporting, and operational analytics to support business objectives.
  • Partner with construction, commissioning, operations, suppliers, and logistics teams to resolve equipment and deployment issues.
  • Monitor supplier performance, procurement activities, and contract compliance while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support critical construction turnover milestones to ensure seamless transition of datacenter facilities to operations.

 

What’s Needed?

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, program coordination, fleet management, or related business functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex programs, deployments, or operational initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, create reports, and drive informed business decisions.
  • Experience with fleet management, asset tracking, inventory management, and proficiency in MS Excel and other business applications.
