Our client, Automotive Electronics / Infotainment & Telematics is seeking a Hardware/PCBA Bench Testing Engineer to join their team. As a Hardware/PCBA Bench Testing Engineer, you will be part of the ECU Testing group supporting Infotainment / Telematics ECU validation and issue diagnosis. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on bench-level testing experience, strong electrical fundamentals, and a disciplined approach to test execution and documentation—so you can help ensure ECU functionality, quality validation, and timely defect reporting.

What's the Job?
- Perform bench level testing of Infotainment and Telematics ECUs, ensuring proper functionality, quality validation, and issue diagnosis in automotive electronics systems.
- Set up and execute test benches, lab equipment, and validation setups for ECU features (audio, connectivity, telematics, UI systems).
- Create, execute, and document test cases; analyze results; and report defects with clear, actionable findings.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscope, multimeter, and log analyzers.
- Support ECU integration activities including flashing and configuration, and assist with regression testing for new releases or updates.
What's Needed?
- Bench-level PCB/PCBA testing and validation experience, including strong oscilloscope usage (sampling frequency, probes, signal measurement).
- Board-level debugging and troubleshooting skills, including soldering/desoldering experience (SMD components).
- Experience with CAN, LIN, and Ethernet testing, plus the ability to perform low-level electrical measurements and signal analysis.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, including correct probe placement.
- Complete test lifecycle ownership (setup → execution → analysis → reporting → root cause analysis and corrective action support).
