Laboratory Technician

Our client, a leader in advanced materials and transportation solutions, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the Advanced Materials and Transportation Product Platform supporting core laboratory activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician 

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $18 to $22
Duration: 12 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Conduct complex laboratory tests with minimal supervision to support product development and quality assurance.
• Accurately report test results and communicate findings effectively to requestors and team members.
• Operate various test equipment, including electro-mechanical test frames and analytical systems.
• Assist with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting laboratory data.
• Follow established procedures and methods to ensure consistency and reliability in testing activities.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment.
• Associates or higher technical degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working with testing equipment and laboratory systems.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within diverse teams and with external partners.
