AI Documentation and Knowledge Management Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the enterprise technology sector, is seeking an AI Documentation and Knowledge Management Consultant to join their team. As an AI Documentation and Knowledge Management Consultant, you will be part of the AI Strategy, Acceleration and Program team supporting enterprise AI enablement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AI Documentation and Knowledge Management Consultant

Location: Austin, TX (On-site; preference for candidates in Austin or Dallas market)

Pay Range:$50

What's the Job?

  • Design, build, and maintain SharePoint and Confluence pages for AI enablement and governance work, including logical navigation, page structures, templates, and content organization.
  • Create and edit procedures, process guides, playbooks, FAQs, checklists, decision trees, and other reference materials for diverse business and technical audiences.
  • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, swimlanes, stakeholder-engagement maps, and operating-model visuals that clarify roles, handoffs, approvals, and escalation paths.
  • Gather information through stakeholder interviews and working sessions, identify documentation gaps or inconsistencies, and validate content with subject-matter experts.
  • Improve consistency across materials by applying common terminology, formatting, version-control practices, and content-review routines.

What's Needed?

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, IT documentation, knowledge management, business analysis, process design, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience creating and maintaining content in SharePoint and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated ability to create clear procedures, process maps, and visual documentation for complex workflows.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology environments and effective communication with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong writing, editing, interviewing, synthesis, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
