Our client, a leading organization in the technology research and development sector, is seeking a Usability Researcher 1 to join their team. As a Usability Researcher 1, you will be part of the User Experience Research team supporting product development and innovation. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Usability Researcher 1
Location: Redmond, WA
Pay Range: $38-$41/hour
What's the Job?
- Conduct research on user opinions and experience of product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Design and evaluate methods for data collection, including surveys, interviews, and testing.
- Gather competitive landscape data to understand user perceptions and experiences.
- Assess the effectiveness of in-product user experiences and propose improvements.
- Report key findings and work with teams to implement product enhancements based on research insights.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in user research or usability testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with research methods, data analysis, and leveraging AI tools for research purposes.
