Senior Content Strategist

Our client, a leading organization in the commercial marketing sector, is seeking a dedicated and innovative Senior Content Strategist to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be an integral part of the Marketing Department, supporting cross-functional teams to craft compelling content strategies that drive business growth and enhance customer engagement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for storytelling, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Senior Content Strategist

Location: Onsite @ Spring, TX

Pay Range: $45 -58/hr 

What's the Job?

• Define and develop comprehensive content strategies that support marketing objectives across various customer journey stages.
• Create messaging frameworks tailored for diverse audiences including SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments.
• Identify content gaps through persona research, customer journey mapping, and content audits to inform strategic planning.
• Establish editorial priorities, content roadmaps, and strategic messaging plans aligned with business goals and customer needs.
• Analyze content performance metrics and optimize content experiences to improve engagement, conversion, and overall effectiveness.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or related commercial marketing disciplines.
• Proven ability to develop and optimize content strategies using customer insights, persona development, and performance analytics.
• Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, personalization strategies, and content performance analytics.
• Excellent collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional teams including Demand Generation, Growth Marketing, and Digital Experience.
• Ability to stay informed on industry trends, emerging content practices, and customer behavior to continuously enhance marketing approaches.
