Our client, a leading organization in the insurance and risk management industry, is seeking a Actuarial Analyst to join their team. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be part of the Pricing and Product Development department supporting the launch of new insurance products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Actuarial Analyst

Location: Columbus, Ohio

30 hours a week expected

Pay Range: $80/hr-90/hr (depending on experience)

What's the Job?

  • Support the development and implementation of pricing strategies for new insurance products in Virginia.
  • Develop initial rate indications and evaluate rating plans to ensure competitive and profitable offerings.
  • Prepare actuarial support for regulatory filings and collaborate with the product team to meet market entry objectives.
  • Analyze data and prepare reports to inform decision-making processes.
  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts to ensure successful product launches and market strategies.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5 years of property and casualty (P&C) pricing experience.
  • Completion of 5 or more CAS exams preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
