Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Supplier Materials Specialist. You will be part of the procurement support team, focusing on supplier compliance activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supplier Materials Specialist 
Location: Maplewood, Minnesota 
Pay Range:$24-26/hr
Contract: 12 months to start

What's the Job?

  • Support procurement-led supplier compliance activities by collecting, validating, and maintaining supplier material information.
  • Conduct structured outreach to suppliers, including distributing questionnaires and instructions.
  • Track responses, follow up on due dates, and ensure timely completion of supplier submissions.
  • Review supplier data for accuracy and completeness, coordinating remediation when necessary.
  • Prepare validated data for upload into internal systems and support periodic data refreshes for audit readiness.

  • Experience with supplier outreach or supplier data collection processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality documentation practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in data management and system data readiness.
