IT Systems Support Specialist

Our client, a government agency specializing in public services, is seeking a IT Systems Support Specialist contractor to join their team. As a IT Systems Support Specialist contractor, you will be part of the IT Department supporting SAP-related projects and payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to technical challenges, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Systems Support Specialist contractor

Location:  onsite in  Sacramento, CA

Pay Range:$48.00 to $50.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Support and maintain SAP ERP ABAP development and programming in ECC environment
• Collaborate with team members to develop and optimize SAP modules and workflows
• Assist in tuning application components for enhanced performance and efficiency
• Document solutions and provide training support to team members with less experience
• Engage with business stakeholders to present solutions and gather requirements

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP ABAP development and programming in ECC
• Knowledge of Web Dynpro ABAP, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, Workflows, Adobe Forms, Smartforms, SAP Script, and ABAP on HANA
• Ability to optimize application performance and work independently or as part of a team
• Strong documentation skills and willingness to support team training
