Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated intermediate level Project Manager to support the successful execution of small to mid-sized capital projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to grow into a project leadership role. High-performing individuals may have the opportunity to lead their own projects as they demonstrate initiative and strong performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing capital projects from initiation through completion.
- Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and status updates.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors as needed.
- Monitor project metrics and identify potential risks or issues.
- Support project governance processes and help ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Facilitate meetings, document action items, and follow up on project deliverables.
- Utilize project management tools to maintain schedules and resource planning.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant project coordination or project management experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work collaboratively toward common goals.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of project metrics, scheduling, and budget tracking.
- Electrical engineering knowledge or exposure is a plus.
