UX Designer

We are seeking a creative and forward-thinking UX Designer for our client to help shape the next generation of AI-enabled products. In this role, you will transform complex scientific workflows into intuitive, user-centered experiences for expert users. Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $46/hr on W2

What’s the Job?

• Partner with product managers to define problems, explore solution spaces, and translate complex scientific concepts into clear, user-centered designs.
• Own the full design lifecycle, including research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and production-ready handoff.
• Create multiple design directions for complex workflows, balancing innovation with usability and simplicity.
• Conduct or initiate user research and incorporate insights into design decisions that improve usability and outcomes.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and efficiency across products.

What’s Needed?

• Strong proficiency in Figma and modern UX design tools, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design.
• Experience with rapid prototyping and validating design concepts in fast-paced, iterative environments.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design tokens; Storybook experience is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate ideation, research, and design-to-code processes.
