Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a SQL Developer to join their team. As a SQL Developer, you will be part of the Data Support Department supporting the Bank's analytics and operational reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Brevard) - Onsite required 3x weekly

What's the Job?

  • Manage and support medium-to-high profile database projects within the Microsoft SQL Server environment.
  • Configure and maintain Always On availability groups, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Collaborate with technology teams and business partners to implement data architecture solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide analysis, design, and support for data-related projects, including issue resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation on technical procedures, implementation steps, and best practices.

What's Needed?

  • At least 4+ years of experience in Database Engineering or equivalent, including hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, Always On, and SSIS (including SSISDB).
  • Experience supporting SQL Server environments in a DBA capacity, not as a developer.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2019-2022 and configuration management.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Nice to have: Autosys experience and familiarity with ServiceNow platform.
