Contract Term: 12 – 24 months with the potential of a full-time conversion with the client
Location: Charlotte, NC – hybrid (3 days/week onsite)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with experience in the Financial Services industry to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing expertise, experience working in Agile environments, and a solid understanding of financial products, transactions, regulatory requirements, and data integrity standards.
The QA Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and project teams to validate system functionality, identify defects, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate financial transactions, workflows, calculations, reporting, and interfaces to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Execute API, database, and data validation testing.
- Support automation testing initiatives and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
- Validate system integrations with internal and third-party financial platforms.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements, security controls, and audit standards.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Prepare testing status reports, defect metrics, and quality dashboards for stakeholders.
- Assist in production validation and post-deployment testing activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience.
- 2+ years of experience supporting Financial Services organizations such as Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgage, Lending, or FinTech.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience creating and executing manual test cases and test scenarios.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as:
- Jira
- Azure DevOps
- ALM / Quality Center
- TestRail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience validating large data sets and performing database testing using SQL.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test automation tools:

- UFT
- Tosca
- Experience testing APIs using Postman, SoapUI, or Swagger.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
