Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Data Management Analyst 1 to join their team. As a Data Management Analyst 1, you will be part of the Data Management team supporting critical data quality, governance, and control initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Support data management, data quality, and governance initiatives across business and technology teams.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of critical data elements.
- Analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute SQL queries to investigate data issues, perform reconciliations, and support reporting needs.
- Assist in monitoring key data quality metrics, controls, and exception reporting processes.
What's Needed?
- 1-2 years of experience working with financial data, data analysis, or related fields.
- Moderate SQL skills, including data validation, reconciliation, and basic query development.
- Exposure to data governance, controls, risk management, or regulatory reporting processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions.
