Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Our client is seeking a Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant to join their team. As a Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant, you will be part of the application modernization and systems integration support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mainframe DevOps Migration Consultant

Location:Remote (United States)

What's the Job?

• Lead and support SCM migration projects utilizing CA-Endevor, DBB, GIT, and IDD solutions.
• Guide clients through the conversion process, providing technical expertise and hands-on support.
• Architect and implement DevOps pipelines using Git, IBM DBB, and automated deployment tools.
• Assess legacy SCM workflows and design efficient migration strategies to modern platforms.
• Conduct training sessions and develop documentation to ensure successful knowledge transfer.

What's Needed?

• Strong background in z/OS and mainframe application development or system programming.
• Experience with IBM's DBB, GIT, IDD, and Endevor migration tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Proven experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of mainframe migration environments.
• Ability to analyze, convert, validate applications, and support troubleshooting efforts.
