Our client, a leader in Financial Crimes technology, is seeking an Application Programmer III to join their team. As an Application Programmer III, you will be part of the Development Department supporting the Financial Crimes technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications within the Financial Crimes technology domain.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, supporting activities for application maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners to define system requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, including story refinement, requirement definition, and proof of concept execution.
  • Set up and automate continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment processes.

What's Needed?

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in software development, particularly in financial services or related fields.
  • Proficiency with MongoDB, J2EE frameworks (MVC, Spring), REST API, Hibernate, Angular, SQL scripting, UNIX Shell scripting, Autosys, and Data analysis.
  • Strong data sourcing, modeling, and provisioning skills supporting large-scale AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
  • Experience with application performance tuning, database migrations, and data conversions.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, CICD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible), and effective communication skills.
