SAF Regulatory/Environmental Specialist II

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and safety/environmental sector, is seeking a  Regulatory/Environmental Specialist II to join their team. As a  Regulatory/Environmental Specialist II, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) department supporting operational safety and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to safety excellence, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Regulatory/Environmental Specialist

Location: Corona, California

Pay Range: $20 to $26 p/h on w-2
Duration: 12 month contract 

What's the Job?

• Conduct technical and project tasks within the safety and environmental fields to ensure project success.
• Advise operations on EHS risks and controls to promote a safe working environment.
• Initiate and complete activities leading to new or improved safety controls and procedures.
• Engage in safety projects by collaborating with operations to define project parameters and desired outcomes.
• Present and facilitate EHS training sessions, respirator fit testing, and inspection of IH results.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering sciences or related fields from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of applicable EHS program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, audit procedures, and environmental standards.
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and investigations independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external agencies.
