Legal Consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the legal and government support sector, is seeking a Legal Consultant to join their team. As a Legal Consultant, you will be part of the Court Order Compliance group supporting the Criminal Response Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Bernards, NJ

Pay Range $23

NOTE: The hours will include Weekends and late night (ex. Tues-Sat. 6pm-3 am) - This is just an example, not the actual shift. They need to be prepared to work all shifts.

4 weeks of training will be required, Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. (This will be onsite. After the 4 week training, once the sponsor feels the new hire can work well independently, they will discuss hybrid)

What's the Job?

• Respond to high-volume law enforcement calls related to life-threatening situations, authenticating callers and providing necessary customer records.
• Ensure all cases are accurately documented and managed in compliance with applicable laws and company procedures.
• Validate, log, and respond to subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants served upon the company for customer records.
• Work independently to troubleshoot issues and make sound decisions under high-pressure, life-and-death scenarios.
• Enter legal process data into workflow management systems and handle related calls efficiently and accurately.

What's Needed?

• Ability to work onsite with flexible shifts, including weekends and late nights.
• Willingness to undergo four weeks of onsite training, Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM.
• Ability to apply for and obtain government clearance.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in customer service, dispatch, or handling high call volumes in dynamic environments.
