FinOps Lead

Our client, an industry leader in technology services, is seeking a FinOps Lead to join their dynamic team. As a FinOps Lead, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting various teams involved in financial operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and proactive communication skills, which will enable you to thrive and make a meaningful impact within the organization.

Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Open to remote)

What's the Job?

• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of FinOps strategies across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT and finance teams to optimize cloud and technology expenses.
• Develop and enforce policies for cost management and resource allocation.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insights to improve efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to financial operations and cost control.

What's Needed?

• Experience with FinOps, particularly involvement from the implementation phase.
• Strong understanding of financial operations within IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
