Job Title: Clinical Scientist II - C
Location: Santa Rosa, CA - 100% Onsite
Pay Range: $50/hr to $54/hr on W2

Job Details: 

• Perform laboratory tests in accordance with standard procedures, ensuring compliance with department objectives and state of California and CLIA requirements.
• Review calibration and quality control results to meet specifications, taking corrective actions as necessary before releasing test results.
• Safely handle hazardous materials, observing all safety rules and regulations to minimize exposure risks.
• Investigate inconsistent lab results, communicate findings, and implement corrective actions to maintain test accuracy and reliability.
• Maintain detailed documentation for calibration, QC, equipment maintenance, specimen handling, and results certification.

What's Needed?

• Must be licensed by the state of California as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Generalist, Toxicologist, or Chemist).
• Bachelor's Degree in Science required; minimum 2 years of experience in a toxicology or clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Experience with mass spectrometry techniques such as LC/MS/MS or GC/MS is highly desirable.
• Strong pipetting, computer, and LIMS system skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coach and support team members effectively.
