Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Application programmer III - Jersey City, NJ to join their team. As a Application programmer III - Jersey City, NJ, you will be part of the Technology Development Department supporting the Financial Systems Analysis and Development team. What's the Job?

  • Design and develop Java, Oracle, and Hadoop-based technology solutions to support financial systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance data analytics tools using Tableau, ETL tools, and stored procedures.
  • Participate in the development lifecycle to ensure practical and efficient design implementation.
  • Conduct UI debugging, API testing, and develop functional use cases for QA and technical teams.
  • Provide strategic planning and model execution for baseline stress projections within investment banking or financial services environments.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a financial institution as a functional/business analyst.
  • Proficiency in Java, Oracle, Hadoop, Tableau, and ETL tools.
  • Hands-on experience with UI debugging, API testing, and developing functional use cases.
  • Understanding of Capital, Liquidity, and Funding systems.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders effectively.
