Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Application programmer III - Jersey City, NJ to join their team. As a Application programmer III - Jersey City, NJ, you will be part of the Technology Development Department supporting the Financial Systems Analysis and Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design and develop Java, Oracle, and Hadoop-based technology solutions to support financial systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance data analytics tools using Tableau, ETL tools, and stored procedures.
• Participate in the development lifecycle to ensure practical and efficient design implementation.
• Conduct UI debugging, API testing, and develop functional use cases for QA and technical teams.
• Provide strategic planning and model execution for baseline stress projections within investment banking or financial services environments.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a financial institution as a functional/business analyst.
• Proficiency in Java, Oracle, Hadoop, Tableau, and ETL tools.
• Hands-on experience with UI debugging, API testing, and developing functional use cases.
• Understanding of Capital, Liquidity, and Funding systems.
• Strong communication skills to articulate data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders effectively.
