Our banking client is seeking a Oracle Policy as Code Engineer to join their team. As a Oracle Policy as Code Engineer, you will be part of the Security Engineering Department supporting cloud security and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Oracle Policy as Code Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid)

Type: 12+ month contract

Required: "OCI with Sentinel PAC"

Looking for someone with a strong Oracle foundation and security knowledge with policy as code development and implementation skills as well as hands on Hashi Sentinel for Policy as Code. Please find some additional details below: 

Oracle Policy-as-Code Engineer
Hands-on engineering role requiring:
•    Oracle Cloud expertise
•    Strong engineering background
•    Policy-as-Code implementation
•    Sentinel/Open Policy Agent (OPA) or similar technologies
•    Security automation
 

What's the Job?

• Perform security reviews of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, SaaS platforms, and third-party SaaS solutions to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Evaluate cloud and SaaS solutions across infrastructure, platform, application, and data layers, providing actionable security guidance.
• Support implementation of OCI-native security controls and automate security processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Partner with platform engineering teams to embed security into deployment and operational workflows.
• Conduct SaaS onboarding assessments, certification reviews, and security posture evaluations to ensure optimal security configurations.
