Our client, a leading organization in hardware security and firmware analysis, is seeking a Software Design Engineer 4 to join their team. As a Software Design Engineer 4, you will be part of the Security and Platform Engineering Department supporting innovative firmware security analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for advancing cybersecurity technologies, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid
Pay Range: $71 - $77.hr on Experis (Benefits/PTO/401k)

What's the Job?
- Build and enhance a next-generation firmware security analysis platform within Azure Hardware Security.
- Develop preprocessing pipelines to compile C/C++ firmware code into LLVM Intermediate Representation (IR).
- Create and improve static analysis workflows, including call-graph extraction and metadata generation.
- Design and maintain systems that generate and execute fuzzing campaigns using modern frameworks and AI-assisted techniques.
- Collaborate with security researchers, compiler engineers, and platform developers to deliver production-quality tooling.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong professional experience developing software in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with compiler technologies, LLVM, or low-level systems programming.
- Experience working with fuzzing frameworks such as libFuzzer, AFL, AFL++, or similar.
- Proficiency with Python for automation and tooling development.
