Our client, a leading organization in the cybersecurity industry, is seeking a Security Threat Hunting + Penetration Testing (Red Team) to join their team. As a Security Threat Hunting + Penetration Testing (Red Team), you will be part of the Yum Cybersecurity - Global Security Operations (GSO) supporting threat detection, penetration testing, and proactive security measures. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's digital assets.
• Perform penetration testing and red team exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with incident response and security engineering teams to develop and implement advanced attack simulations.
• Analyze security data, logs, and telemetry to uncover hidden threats and attack vectors.
• Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and recommend remediation strategies to enhance overall security posture.

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or ethical hacking with a strong understanding of attack methodologies.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and techniques, including common attack vectors and defense strategies.
• Experience with security assessment tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think like an attacker and identify security weaknesses.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
