Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Lead Dev OPs/Platform Eng: Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Lead Dev OPs/Platform Eng: Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Technology Operations team supporting critical DevSecOps automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for innovative automation solutions, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Dev OPs/Platform Eng: Software Engineer 4 - Contingent

Location: Columbus, OH

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and operate scalable, cloud-native platforms supporting secure application delivery.
• Automate microservices deployments across Kubernetes and OpenShift environments, utilizing tools like Harness, Maven, Gradle, and Python.
• Implement and optimize GitOps workflows using declarative configurations and JSON/YAML pipelines.
• Support cloud platform delivery across Azure and GCP, ensuring infrastructure, deployment, and security are managed through code.
• Embed DevSecOps practices, observability, and pipeline instrumentation to enhance operational visibility and troubleshooting efficiency.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and cloud platforms like GCP and Azure.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, and automation frameworks like Ansible or Terraform.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code, governance controls, and audit compliance in regulated environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
