Our client, a leading organization in the retail industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Retail POS Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Retail POS Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of retail POS systems, supporting the enhancement and integration of payment solutions. Job Title: Senior Retail POS Quality Engineer

Location:Grand Rapids, Michigan (Onsite)

What's the Job?

• Work as a POS tester to validate application enhancements and contribute to regression testing efforts.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to validate complex retail workflows and payment integrations.
• Perform integration testing across POS, store systems, mobile, and web applications.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and ReadyAPI to validate request/response payloads and orchestration.
• Analyze API logs, troubleshoot integration issues, and create comprehensive test reports and defect documentation.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in POS testing, with a focus on retail POS systems and payment ecosystems.
• Strong knowledge of backend API orchestration, database validation, and end-to-end transaction testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, and REST services.
• Experience with backend system integration testing and test automation frameworks like Robot Framework.
• Proficiency in database testing using SQL Server and leveraging AI tools for test case generation and automation development.
