Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Front Office Quantitative Python Developer to join their team. As a Senior Front Office Quantitative Python Developer, you will be part of the Global Markets supporting Front Office trading and risk management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Develop and enhance trading and risk management applications using Python
• Collaborate with front-office teams to translate trading strategies into software solutions
• Support and improve existing quantitative models and algorithms
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Analyze complex trading data to support compliance, surveillance, and risk mitigation efforts

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with Python
• Experience supporting front-office trading or risk applications within banking or financial services
• Strong understanding of quantitative analysis and data modeling
• Proficiency with REST APIs and full-stack development (React.js preferred)
• Experience working on trade surveillance, market misconduct, or compliance systems is a plus
