AWS DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (TX, NJ, NC)

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare payment solutions industry, is seeking a AWS DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (TX, NJ, NC) to join their dynamic team. As an AWS DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (TX, NJ, NC), you will be part of the Cloud Engineering and DevOps support team, supporting healthcare payment solutions such as Kaiser Permanente and medical clinics where BOA-issued cards are used for payments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: AWS DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (TX, NJ, NC)

Location: Plano, TX (not remote)

Pay Range:

What's the Job?

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
• Develop and support secure CI/CD pipelines with validation, scanning, and approval gates
• Implement cloud architecture patterns including high availability, failover, and multi-region designs
• Support platform standardization and governance, ensuring auditability and repeatable deployments
• Collaborate with application teams to onboard and migrate workloads to cloud infrastructure

What's Needed?

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, IAM, Route 53, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
• Proven experience with Terraform, including module development, state management, and debugging
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines including build, scan, approval, and deployment workflows
• Experience with cloud security practices, vulnerability remediation, and compliance controls
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools
