Our client, a leading organization in the technology and cybersecurity sector, is seeking a Lead Cloud Security Compliance Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Cloud Security Compliance Engineer, you will be part of the Security and Compliance Department supporting enterprise-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Cloud Security Compliance Engineer

Location:San Francisco, California

Pay Range: $53/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Design, implement, and improve enterprise cybersecurity programs across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Develop and maintain security architectures for cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices organization-wide.
  • Partner with engineering, legal, audit, and business teams to promote security-by-design principles.
  • Lead compliance assessments, audits, and control reviews to ensure regulatory adherence.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), or security engineering.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security architecture, security automation, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud-native security solutions and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
