Our client, a leading organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Payments Project Manager to join their team. As a Payments Project Manager, you will be part of the Strategic Payments Innovation Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a strategic payments technology initiative focused on integrating next-generation payments platforms with SWIFT's ledger technology.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, governance, and risk management to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Partner closely with engineering, architecture, product, and business teams to develop and implement innovative payment solutions.
  • Facilitate technical discussions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and engineering efforts.
  • Manage functional and technical requirements, track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

What's Needed?

  • 7+ years of experience managing enterprise technology projects, particularly in the payments domain.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience managing application development projects with engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and drive projects independently.
