Our client, a leading enterprise organization in the financial technology sector, is seeking a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the IT department supporting multiple internal projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $70/hr on W2

What's the Job?

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex Pega applications with a focus on case management and workflow automation.
• Actively contribute to coding, system integration, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, and integration specialists to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Mentor junior team members through code reviews and technical guidance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support cloud migration initiatives and optimize system performance across multiple applications.

What's Needed?

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on Pega engineering expertise.
• Strong proficiency in Pega Case Management, system integrations (REST API, SOAP), and workflow automation.
• Experience with complex case lifecycle design, including stages, SLAs, and escalations.
• Proven ability to lead technical development efforts and mentor team members effectively.
• Certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA are preferred; cloud migration experience is a plus.
