Our client, a leading organization in the data-driven industry, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Data Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Engineering department supporting data collection, storage, and processing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will enable you to thrive within the organization and contribute to innovative data solutions.

Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (3 days onsite every week)

What's the Job?

  • Build scalable ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines across DataBricks Medallion Layers, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and staging/data layers
  • Support Metrics Repository and onboarding of new datasets to ensure data accessibility and integrity
  • Develop ETL pipelines to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis
  • Ensure high data quality standards and optimize data storage solutions for performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data solutions aligned with organizational goals

What's Needed?

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development
  • Experience with cloud data tools, specifically Azure Data Factory
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and storage solutions
  • Ability to develop and optimize scalable data pipelines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with diverse teams
