    Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Mid-Level to join their dynamic team. As a Java Developer - Mid-Level, you will be supporting the Software Development and Engineering department, collaborating with technical and business partners to design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

    Job Title: Java Developer - Mid-Level

    Location: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX (Onsite)

    Pay Range: $55/hr on W2

    What's the Job?

    • Design, develop, and maintain high-volume transaction supporting applications using Java and Spring framework.
    • Research and develop technical specifications, architecture, and design solutions for production and test environments.
    • Participate in strategic planning discussions with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
    • Support tools and processes for gathering detailed user requirements and automate testing procedures.
    • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

    What's Needed?

    • 3+ years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP).
    • Hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
    • Experience with ETL jobs, data pipelines, messaging frameworks, and distributed databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
    • Familiarity with continuous build tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
    • Strong ability to develop technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and automated test scripts.
