Python Developer

Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Python Developer to join their team. As a Python Developer, you will be part of the Technology Support Department supporting the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Derivatives teams. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Best in segment On W2

What's the Job?

• Enhance and maintain existing business applications, including core frameworks, trade blotters, and management reporting tools
• Partner with global technology teams to deliver strategic solutions and streamline processes
• Support business and technology teams with product inquiries across financial markets
• Maintain clear, current documentation to support business growth initiatives
• Work closely with Front Office trading desks to diagnose, understand, and resolve critical issues

What's Needed?

• Proven experience in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Strong coding, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript (React, Node.js), SQL, NoSQL, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL
• Knowledge of streaming and connectivity protocols for financial data
• Ability to prioritize issues based on business demand and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
