Our client, a leading organization in the construction and procurement industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 3 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 3, you will be part of the procurement department supporting project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Specialist 3

Location: Boydton VA & South Hill VA (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $33/hr Experis W2 + Benefits (NO C2C)

What's the Job?

• Lead in determining and managing sourcing strategies within defined categories or subcategories.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define sourcing plans.
• Oversee the sourcing process, including materials and reports for management, providing procurement advice to business areas.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and identify new potential partners.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing processes and develop category strategies, plans, and pipelines.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
