SQL Server DBA / Developer

Our client, a prominent organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a SQL Server DBA / Developer to join their dedicated team. As a SQL Server DBA / Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT Department supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Hurleyville, New York

Pay Range:$40

What's the Job?

• Support and manage Microsoft SQL Server databases, including installations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize database operations.
• Develop and enhance database solutions, including writing triggers, stored procedures, and data transfers.
• Provide technical support for internal applications and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and design effective database solutions.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in application development and database administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database design, data transfer, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365 CRM, and Office 365 technologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to document technical specifications clearly.
